This policy applies to tradesbeast.com. TradesBeast is a free content and community site for trades workers across North America. The site does not require account registration and does not process payments from workers. This policy explains what information is collected through the site, how it is used, and the rights available to visitors in the United States and in Canada.
If you sign up for the TradesBeast newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. If you submit wage information through our wage benchmark form, we collect the details included in that submission, such as trade, region, hourly rate, and related fields. We do not currently collect payment information. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive here. Google Analytics does not collect payment information and does not identify you by name.
Email addresses are used to send the TradesBeast newsletter and occasional updates about the platform. Wage submissions are used in aggregate to build wage benchmark content for the trades community. We do not use your information for any purpose beyond what is described here.
Email addresses are stored with a third-party email service provider, which processes this data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not share your information with advertisers. Wage data is only ever shared or published in aggregate, never in a form that identifies an individual submission.
TradesBeast uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technology to collect information about how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and what site or platform referred a visitor here. This information is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally. You can learn more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. TradesBeast does not use advertising tracking pixels on this site. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
We keep your email address on file until you unsubscribe or request that it be deleted. To request deletion of your information at any time, contact us at contact@tradesbeast.com.
